Redesign Of the First Abu Dhabi Bank

For First Abu Dhabi Bank, the challenge was to create a bold new identity capable of positioning the UAE’s largest bank on a truly global stage — one that reflects scale, ambition, and leadership without losing its cultural core.

At the heart of the system lies Al Awwal — the symbol of “the first.” Rooted in Arabic heritage, the icon became the foundation of the entire visual language, representing leadership, forward momentum, and the bank’s role in shaping what comes next.

The result is an identity that speaks fluently to the world while remaining deeply rooted in the UAE — a visual expression of a bank built to lead first, think first, and move first.
